When Katniss finds Peeta during the games and he says something like “You know we’re supposed to be in love so it’s all right to kiss me any time you feel like it”.
This made me smile. I JUST LOVE PEETA’S SENSE OF HUMOR AND CHARM.

Where do I start with Peeta?! My all-time favorite fictional character. He is all I look for in a character. I love his charisma, dialogue, his will, how he always wants to be true to himself, and his undying devotion to Katniss. I truly, truly love him. Suzanne Collins’ painted him so well. I could write a book on why I love him but i’ll just leave it at that. I LOVE Peeta Mellark!

HE IS SO PERFECT I CANNOT
So I was thinking and WHAT IF there actually is younger actors playing Katniss and Peeta? I mean, I know we have this still-
BUT WHAT IF it’s like a flashback.
What if in the movie Peeta burns bread again or something, and his mom hits him and he goes to throw it out THEN HE REMEMBERS the last time this has happened (that is what this still is from).. and that last time was when he saved Katniss- then BAM cut to flashback as he remembers! Who knows… we could be surprised. I am just upset they don’t have them as young kids, that was important!! This is like the first and only change that is bothering me.

I always loved the idea of Josh as Peeta, and I always fought back the haters, and supported him. Seeing him play Peeta in this trailer made me want to break down and cry. He did it. He really did it. HE BROUGHT OUR BELOVED PEETA TO LIFE.
Josh has what? ONE line in the trailer?- YET HE STILL MOVED ME. He didn’t need to speak. He moved me with just a glace. That is skill right there folks.
For example, the moment he and Katniss are on stage together at the reaping- THE LOOK HE GIVES.
It broke my heart. He is thinking, “Woah. This is the girl I love, the girls life i saved, we are going in the games- and we won’t be able to get out together.”
Then when Josh says his line (which btw is from one of my all-time favorite scenes from the entire trilogy)..
He nailed it. He just nailed the line.
So I just wanted to thank Josh Hutcherson. because honestly- where would this movie be without him? We have the perfect Peeta guys.
We are so lucky to have Josh.
Not only does he have the most perfectly sculpted jaw ever created, he has the most exquisite chin dimple in all history of humanity.
I know Josh will never see this, but I just want to tell Josh that I LOVE you and the fandom loves you and I can’t wait to see you charm us even more (which i didn’t think would be possible) as Peeta! <3 :’)
