even though they’re brutal and killing each other, they’ve been forced to do so. even the careers, they’ve been brainwashed into believing its bringing them honor. whenever someone clapped I got so angry-especially when the kids next to me were giggling when rue died.

every single person in my theater clapped when thresh killed clove.

^ same. But I think they clapped because Thresh saved Katniss’ life- not because Clove was dead.
