#120 When Peeta proposed, Katniss hesitated only because she was scared of the damage the war had done to her, and what Peeta might think of her. But there was one person that helped Katniss make her decision - Annie Cresta. She once asked Katniss: “Do you think he’s worth taking chances on?” to which Katniss answered “I do.” To this, Annie replied “Then those are the two words you should say; because the people who love us will continue to love us, despite our shortcomings and weaknesses.”. And as she said this, Annie smiled - the same smile she wore every time she thought of Finnick.
