Haymitch didn’t get much screen time in the trailer, but I like what I saw. He comes across as having authority and purpose now. Katniss and Peeta seem to respect him and trust him more than before. The final Haymitch moment is my favorite part of the trailer. The look on his face says he’s all too aware of the danger in their lives, but he’s fully invested in these two kids and committed to protecting them no matter what.
Haymitch is my favorite.

Me too! I’m so glad they didn’t show the arena. They didn’t show the arena in any of the trailers for THG and it worked perfectly. We didn’t see anything until we got in the theater.
I love how the trailer is just like “we’re not gonna sugarcoat this shit”
